Card issuing, end to end
Two card products, one platform, and every operational step between a customer request and a working card in their hand or wallet.
Card products
Physical cards
Visa-accepted plastic with EMV chip, contactless, magstripe and CVV in line with current scheme requirements. The card face carries your permitted brand elements within Visa design rules. Personalised, packaged and dispatched through the fulfilment workflow agreed at onboarding.
Virtual cards
Issued instantly and tokenisation-ready, provisionable to Apple Pay, Google Pay and other supported wallets in eligible markets. Same scheme acceptance and same funding model as physical. Suited to online spending, subscriptions and immediate cardholder activation while plastic is in transit.
BIN models
The BIN determines who the scheme sees as the issuer and how quickly you can launch. Two routes are supported.
| Zen-managed BIN | Your own BIN | |
|---|---|---|
| Who holds the BIN | Zen Card | Your institution |
| Scheme certification | Already complete | Your programme, supported by us |
| Time to first card | Materially shorter | Longer; gated by certification |
| Card branding | Your brand elements | Your brand elements |
| Best suited to | First programmes, pilots, speed to market | Institutions with an existing issuing estate |
Cardholder controls
Limits and restrictions
Per-card spending limits, and MCC restrictions to permit or block whole merchant categories at authorisation.
Freeze and unfreeze
Instant card suspension and reinstatement from the app or via API, without reissuing the card.
PIN and regional settings
PIN management and regional controls, so a card can be constrained to the geographies a programme actually operates in.
Fulfilment
Physical cards are produced, personalised, packaged and dispatched to the cardholder through the workflow agreed during onboarding. Delivery options, packaging, carrier and activation method are configured per programme.
Production and dispatch
Card manufacture, personalisation and shipping are operated as part of the managed service. You set the requirements; we run the bureau relationship.
Lifecycle
Top-up, reissuance, replacement, dispute initiation and end-of-life handling are exposed through the dashboard and the API for the life of every card.
See how it integrates
Card issuing is one part of the platform. The integration layer is where your systems meet it.
